Trialling

CULRC's sole objective is to race and beat Oxford in the annual Men's Lightweight Boat Race held in Henley upon Thames.
We aim to attract the best lightweight or potential lightweight oarsmen and coxes in Cambridge.

The Club

Cambridge University Lightweight Rowing Club (CULRC) was founded in 1974 and has raced the Oxford lightweights in March or April every year since 1975.
Beating Oxford in the Henley Boat Races is the principal aim of the club, and we have done so on 21 of the 35 races so far.
